NASA has developed a teleoperated robot to help on the moon and other planets. There is a space shuttle named Voyager that builds gates of CPU with a custom instruction set.
There are also teleoperated robots that help with medical issues. They can interact and treat patients. There is even a robot with a screen where you can talk to your doctor if they are far away.
